Algerian customs authorities recently stated that since January 2024, over 26,000 used cars have been imported into the country. Among these imports, vehicles aged under three years account for a significant proportion, with their numbers increasing by approximately 1.5 times compared to the same period last year.
The Port of Algiers alone has handled over 12,000 such used vehicles aged under three years.

Why are buyers so drawn to these vehicles? Simple – new cars carry steep price tags locally, making lightly-used models (under three years old) a smart, budget-friendly option for the general public.
